Thursday Procurement Club
A monthly dinner for procurement leaders in Bucharest. Vendor-free.
Procurement is one of the few jobs where the people who understand your problems best work at other companies. The Thursday Procurement Club brings them to the same table, once a month, to compare notes, solve real problems and learn from each other.
A table of peers, not a room of vendors.
Why join
Meet your peers.
CPOs, heads of procurement, buyers and business owners: people who sign off on spend, not people who want to sell to you.
Solve real problems.
Each dinner, one member brings a live challenge and the room works on it together.
Get the benchmark you can’t google.
An anonymous poll at each dinner shows how other companies in Romania handle the same issue. Results are shared with members the next day.
Stay connected between dinners.
A private WhatsApp group with one question to discuss every Monday.

First dinner: a special edition with Nico Bac
Nico Bac
The first dinner will be held in English and features Nico Bac, whose company DPNow hosts the club. Nico is a transformation expert with more than 10 years of experience bringing procurement technology to life. From 2014 to 2020 he initiated and drove P&G’s global digital procurement transformation, achieving 100% e-sourcing and 93% e-invoicing adoption. Today he is Founder & Head of Strategy at DPNow, which he started to give procurement leaders a faster path to results, not another 18-month project.
What makes a procurement transformation succeed, or fail, from someone who has led one
Nico will share the lessons he took from P&G: what moved adoption, what stalled it, and what he would do differently. The room will then test them against the realities of the Romanian market. As at every dinner, we’ll also run a short live poll.
Save your seat for 26 November.
